Device Access

digital inclusion

Device access is a critical part of digital inclusion. That’s why it has become a prioritized area of focus for our organization by undertaking the bridging digital divide project in deprived communities.

In addition, the devices we have placed in our learning center in Anakum that creates internet connectivity, we are also launching e-Library project in various schools in the villages. This effort will support the child at the stages of basic and proficient reading to have access to a variety of stimulating texts on various subjects and in a range of formats making extra-curricular reading material such as e-books, e-readers, computers, among others, available to children and encouraging them to access it, which is uncommon in schools as well as the district we operating in.

In September 22, 2016, Ghana Investment for Electronics Communication (GIFEC) donated 15 doil computers and 15 mercury UPS to this effort. We are proud to receive from (GIFEC) to bridge the digital divide in Wasa Amenfi Central District, Anakum community.
