Ashleigh
Ashleigh is an experienced train driver with over 12 years of expertise in the field. Prior to her career as a train driver, Ashleigh had a successful career in sales and recruitment. However, her true passion lies in philanthropy and making a positive impact on the world.
Ashleigh has dedicated her time and effort to volunteering with organizations both abroad and locally. In Ethiopia, she worked closely with local charities to learn about the great work their doing for the community. Back home, she contributed her skills and compassion to organizations like Orange Sky, providing assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Driven by a deep sense of responsibility, Ashleigh strongly believes in the power of collective action to create a better world. It is this shared vision that motivated Ashleigh to join the Hope Restoration Network (HRN) as they embark on their journey to bring HRN to Australia. With her extensive experience and unwavering dedication, Ashleigh is excited about the opportunity to contribute to HRN’s mission and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
GERMANIAN TEAM
Country Director – Germany
Leonora Lansah
The role of Hope Restoration Network’s country representative in Germany is crucial in building strong partnerships with NGOs in the country. With a focus on HRN’s initiative and goals, I will actively seek out organizations that share our vision and are willing to collaborate for positive change. Through effective communication and networking, I will extend invitations to those interested in joining hands with HRN to make a significant impact.
Collaboration is key, and I will work closely with executives and team members to ensure the success and sustainability of our initiatives. Together, we will brainstorm creative ideas, devise effective strategies, and implement projects that aim to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable communities in Ghana.
With a friendly and helpful approach, I will strive to foster strong relationships and create a sense of unity among all stakeholders involved. Through my dedication and commitment, I aim to contribute to the realization of HRN’s mission and bring hope and restoration to those who need it most.

GHANAIAN TEAM
Country Director – ghana
Larbi Christopher agbesi
Christopher Agbesi Larbi is the Country Director for Hope Restoration Network, Ghana. He is a board Member of HRN, and has been part of the evolution of Hope Restoration Network and its ground-breaking interventions in “Lending a Helping hand” to the poor and needy and helping people become agents of change in their local communities.
He began his work with Hope Restoration Network on voluntary basis as a research fellow in the year 2012. His undergraduate research paper themes, “Socioeconomic impacts of NGO’s in Community development, the case of Hope Restoration Network”. His work also focused on various innovative means of fundraising to ensure sustainability of NGO interventions. More importantly, it paved a new direction for HRN focused interventions.
Over the years that he has served with the organisation, he has advanced from Administrator to Country Director. Leading the various programs and interventions, and overseeing the operation of Change Agents in Ghana. He also works closely to advance the ideas and ideals of HRN in Australia.
Christopher is a Project Manager by profession, currently working with Helios Towers Ghana, Specialist in Telecom cell site Acquisition and infrastructure development. A product of the University of Cape Coast with Bachelor’s in Geography and Sociology, and Associate of Project Management Professionals, Ghana. He is passionate about youth Leadership and Social transformation.


Grant Acquisition Officer – Ghana
Queenster Elinam Kwakofi
My name is Queenster Elinam Kwakofi, and I am proud to serve as the Grant Acquisition Officer at Hope Restoration Network (HRN). In this role, I am responsible for securing the necessary funding to support HRN’s impactful projects and initiatives.
One of my primary responsibilities is to write and edit proposals in response to various funding opportunities. I work closely with a diverse range of individuals, including faculty members, post-docs, residents, students, and staff. By collaborating with these talented individuals, we are able to develop comprehensive and compelling grant proposals, cooperative agreements, contracts, and other supporting documents.
Identifying potential sponsors and maintaining strong strategic partnerships are also crucial aspects of my role. By doing so, I ensure that our fundraising efforts and event goals align with the organization’s research projects. Building and nurturing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is essential to sustaining ongoing revenue streams for HRN.
Furthermore, I am responsible for coordinating the preparation of research proposals and feedback reports, enhancing partner relationships, and providing ongoing support to internal and external stakeholders. By effectively managing these tasks, I contribute to the long-term success and growth of HRN.
My unwavering dedication lies in achieving HRN’s goals and objectives. I am driven to succeed in winning grants that align with our organization’s research projects. Although setbacks are inevitable, my team and I remain persistent in pursuing grants that will make a significant impact. We understand that winning every grant may not be possible, but we never give up. We remain determined and resilient in our pursuit of funding for HRN’s vital work.
As the Grant Acquisition Officer at HRN, I bring a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills to the table. Through my efforts, I aim to secure the necessary resources to support HRN’s mission of restoration. Together with my team, I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.
Head of Volunteers – Ghana
Michael
I work as the Head of Volunteers at Hope Restoration Network, where my main focus is making a positive impact in the lives of those who are in need. Community service and creating meaningful change are at the core of my passion and drive. With a background in Social Work, I have the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively lead and manage a team of volunteers.
Throughout my career, I have gained diverse experience in the nonprofit sector, specifically in volunteer management and engagement. I have successfully coordinated and supervised large-scale volunteer programs, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and high-quality services are delivered to the community.
Leadership is a key strength of mine, as I believe in leading by example and motivating others to fulfill their potential. I possess strong leadership skills that inspire and guide volunteers to contribute their time and skills towards meaningful projects.
I am also skilled in organizational management, from recruitment and training to scheduling and recognition. I ensure that volunteers are engaged, supported, and empowered to make a significant impact within the organization.
Building and maintaining positive relationships is another strength of mine, as I thrive in communicating effectively with volunteers, stakeholders, and community partners. I utilize these skills to facilitate collaboration and foster a sense of unity among volunteers.
Above all, my unwavering passion for community service drives my commitment to making a difference. I firmly believe in the potential of volunteers to positively transform lives and bring about meaningful change in our society.
Throughout my time at Hope Restoration Network, I have achieved notable milestones, such as developing and implementing a comprehensive volunteer training program, organizing and leading a team for a large-scale community renovation project, and increasing volunteer retention rate through recognition programs and a supportive environment.


Treasurer – Ghana
Makafui Tawiah
My name is Makafui Tawiah, and I am honored to serve as the treasurer for Hope Restoration Network (HRN). With a strong background in accounting and finance, I am passionate about utilizing my skills and knowledge to support the humanitarian objectives of HRN.
One of the core values of HRN is to lend a helping hand to those in need and bring smiles to as many people as possible. This mission deeply resonates with me and inspires me to contribute my academic background and skillset to the organization’s goals.
As the treasurer, my role is crucial in connecting HRN’s passion-driven objectives with the available funding. I am the glue that ensures our financial resources are aligned with our mission and initiatives. I am responsible for managing and monitoring the financial health of the organization, ensuring that our budgetary allotments are in line with the initiatives we undertake.
In addition, I am committed to upholding compliance with tax laws and financial regulatory requirements. Staying informed about any changes in laws and regulations is essential to ensure HRN’s financial integrity and reputation are maintained.
By effectively managing the financial aspects of HRN, I strive to maximize the impact of our efforts. I diligently track income and expenses, create budgets, and allocate financial resources appropriately to support our initiatives. Through careful financial management, I aim to enhance our ability to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

My role as the Programs Manager for Hope Restoration Network (HRN) in Ghana is to oversee and ensure the successful implementation of programs that focus on promoting livelihood, education, and health within our community.
Throughout my career at HRN, I have actively participated in numerous national discussions related to the development of young people. These engagements have allowed me to gain valuable insights into the challenges they face and the opportunities that exist for their growth and empowerment.
One of my core beliefs is that young people possess unlimited capabilities that, when utilized appropriately, can greatly accelerate development. To this end, I am a strong advocate for leveraging digital communication tools as a means of advocating for the needs and rights of our youth.
I find inspiration in witnessing the potential of young individuals and their ability to contribute to the progress of our society. It is my firm belief that by providing them with the necessary resources, support, and guidance, we can unlock their full potential and drive sustainable development.
In my role as Programs Manager, I am committed to implementing programs that not only address immediate challenges but also provide long-term, sustainable solutions. Programs Manager – Kenya
Balozi
Hello, my name is Balozi, and I am honoured to serve as the Head of Program in Kenya for Hope Restoration Network (HRN). With a background in journalism and 8 years of experience as a media manager, I bring a unique skill set to this role.
My primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth transition from the planning stage to the implementation of HRN’s programs on the ground. This involves effective coordination, clear communication, and meticulous organization to ensure that our initiatives align with the needs of the community.
My ultimate aim is to enhance and catalyse socio-economic development in the project area through strategic program interventions. I believe in the power of community-driven approaches and actively involve local stakeholders in the decision-making process. By listening to their voices and understanding their needs, we can create programs that truly make a difference.
In collaboration with the HRN team, I am committed to developing initiatives that not only aid our organization but also benefit the community in meaningful ways. We strive to empower individuals, families, and communities by providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive.

Pendo Dama
As the Country Director for Hope Restoration Network (HRN) in Kenya, I am Pendo Dama, a dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychologist and Lifestyle Coach. My primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of all HRN activities within the country.
With my background in clinical psychology, I bring a deep understanding of mental health issues and the importance of holistic well-being. I am passionate about providing support and guidance to individuals who are struggling with various challenges in their lives.
As a friendly helper, my approach is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where everyone feels heard and valued. I believe in the power of teamwork and collaboration, and I am committed to fostering a strong sense of unity among my team members.
In my role as Country Director, I take charge of overseeing all HRN activities in Kenya. This includes managing and coordinating projects, monitoring their progress, and ensuring that they align with HRN’s mission and goals. I am also responsible for networking and building relationships with local stakeholders, partners, and communities to further the impact of our work.
